Shahid Park

Shahid Park (Sahid Park) is a major green and cultural site located in Gokarneshwor Municipality, Kathmandu. Spanning nearly one thousand ropanis of land near the Gokarneshwor Temple, the park is renowned for its natural beauty, greenery, and peaceful environment. Within the park are colorful flower gardens, attractive fountains, resting areas, and spots suitable for film shooting. Additionally, a helipad has been constructed, which is used on special occasions. To make the park more convenient for visitors, paved pathways, resting areas, and hotels are currently under development. From religious, social, and touristic perspectives, Shahid Park is a proud heritage of Gokarneshwor Municipality, offering peace and recreation to pilgrims, tourists, and local residents alike.
